a valentine's day garland

...that we'll have to use next year!  Since I'm really into salt dough all of a sudden, we made hearts a couple weeks ago after I saw the idea on Pinterest.  Then a bit after that I painted them, sealed them, and finally strung them together.  After all those steps is when I realized that our stud finder is buried somewhere in the basement.  The thing is so heavy that it needs to be hung up properly.  It's sitting on our table waiting to be put away and brought out next year.

Can you tell which ones are Charley's?  I love the one with the wonky holes and can't wait to see how it looks hung up.

I know this is shocking, but Charley didn't want to paint his.  The funny thing was that when I finally hung them all up and his weren't painted (after multiple opportunities to do it), he noticed his were bare and seemed like he was bummed.  I like how they look though.

I didn't put these bigger ones on ribbons yet.  I think we'll hang them individually.  The painting isn't stellar, but I viewed this as a process over product project.
